Vibram Footwear is a global brand well-known for its innovative shoe design and incredible footwear soles. Due to its’ growing consumer demand, Vibram faced supply chain challenges. Vibram found their own Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and IT systems were inadequate for the level of production necessary to meet demand, and reach their customers on time.

Challenges

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ worked with Vibram to address these challenges and simultaneously create a solution to:

  • Establish separate order processing and management locations for web and retail orders
  • Improve forecasting capability
  • Bring inventory levels up to ensure responsiveness to surging demand

We have also dealt with requirements for counterfeit product detection and management of the brand threat, while ensuring that all solutions position Vibram to scale, with orders and delivery (direct to consumer and to retail channels) capable of fast response as orders grow in number and complexity.

Solutions

While they recognized the issue, Vibram understood the solution did not exist within their organization. As a result, they chose to contract ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½for their fulfillment service needs. The fulfillment center developed a plan to scale production to meet the high demand by improving forecasting ability and bringing inventory levels up, as well as maintaining separate order processing for online and retail orders. Another service the fulfillment center provided was managing requirements for counterfeit product detection and brand threat.
